Terms of service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms govern the use of Grinance, published by the individual identified in the legal notice. Creating an account means you accept them and the privacy policy.
What Grinance is
Grinance is a free planning tool, run by one person on a non-professional, non-profit basis, with no advertising. It does not move money, does not connect to a bank and gives no financial advice. The figures it shows come from what you enter and from exchange rates that can lag the market.
Who can use it
You must be at least 15 years old to create an account, the age of digital consent in France. Grinance does not check your age; the information you give at sign-up must be accurate.
Your account
One person uses one account. Keep access to the email address you signed up with: it is the recovery path when you lose your passkey or password. You are responsible for what happens through your account; write to contact@grinance.com if you suspect someone else used it.
Using the service
Do not try to reach another account's data, do not overload, probe or scrape the service, do not get around its limits, and do not use it for anything illegal. An account that does can be suspended or deleted.
Your data
The plan items you enter belong to you. Grinance stores and processes them only to provide the service. The privacy policy explains what is stored and for how long, and the account page holds the export and the permanent deletion.
Intellectual property
The Grinance name, logo, texts and interface belong to the publisher and are protected by intellectual property law. Using the service gives you no right to reproduce them.
Availability and changes
Grinance is offered as it is, free of charge, with no uptime promise. Features can change or be removed, and the service can be suspended for maintenance or stopped. If it is stopped for good, you will be told in advance where possible and given the chance to export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Grinance is not liable for decisions you make from the figures it projects, nor for indirect damage. Check anything that matters against your own records. Nothing in these terms limits liability that French law does not allow to be limited, such as for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor any right you have as a consumer.
Ending use
You can delete your account at any time on the account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent. An account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms can be suspended or deleted, after notice unless the matter is urgent.
Changes to these terms
Material changes to these terms are announced in the app or by email before they apply. Using Grinance after that means you accept them; if you do not, you can delete your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Disputes go to the competent courts. If one clause is held invalid, the others still apply.
